A Sigh of Relief

Okay, I asked for it and I got it.  I went to Hollywood last night to check my schedule for next week to see what three days I’ll be working (since for the past couple of weeks, I’ve only been scheduled for three days) and to my surprise, I was on the schedule for every single day except Sunday, totalling 34.5 hours.  Needless to say, it’s what I’ve been asking for for about a month  now and if it keeps up, we’ll be doing good financially in no time.  Sure, I’ll be depriving myself of sleep, but I’m doing this for Jessica and that reason alone makes all of this stress and exhaustion worth it.  Of course, if it gets to be too much, I’ll just scale my hours back a tad until I can find a comfortable medium.  I’ve also found some more artists for my comics.  I’m going to keep Yoshi as the artist for the main comic and use one or both of the other artists to kick out the others while I’m waiting for Yoshi.  I just need to get cracking on the writing so I can have something for Yoshi when she finishes the first book and get the second series started with the other artist.  Ah, the insanity of working two jobs, barely having time to sleep, hardly spending time with my wife and also trying to get comics completed for a website and also studying for 8 more certifications.  If all that wrapped up into one sentence doesn’t scream for some sort of help, or isn’t a sign of something larger going on, then I don’t know what does.  But, I can at least look back on this in a few years and say “I did it.”  Hopefully, somewhere in the mix, I’ll have all my certifications and will only need to work one job.  But then what would I do with all that free time?  Instead of sitting around and pondering, I’m going back to studying.  PIECE!!!!!
