Vacation
I’ve been on vacation this week, half of last week and half of next week. I will be back to work on the 17th. I’ve only been on vacation from my job at the hospital, so I’ve still been working nights at Hollywood. I had the vacation time and needed to use it before it went away, so this was as good a time as any. My server died, so the website won’t be up until I can either fix it (which doesn’t look likely since it’s almost 10 years old) or get another one. Hopefully I can get another one, I’ve been told there are some older ones around the hospital that aren’t being used that I can have but I’m going to check with the networking team just in case, I hope to hear back from them soon. I have an old computer sitting on a table I set up for Jessica so she can play some games on it but she doesn’t use it since it doesn’t have any sound or internet on it so she just uses the main one, which is fine, that’s why it’s here. I’ve been sleeping a lot on my vacation, which is good, except I’ve had a sinus infection for about two months now and I’m going to the doctor tomorrow to get rid of it (hopefully). The last time I went to the doctor for a sinus infection, they only gave me some antibiotics that only helped for a couple of days. This time I’m going to ask for a shot, I don’t know what’s in the shot but there’s a clinic here in town that gives it to me when I have a sinus infection and it kills it the same day. I don’t go there anymore since it’s not on my insurance and it’s around eighty bucks and Jessica’s argument is I should go somewhere that is on my insurance and only pay twenty bucks. We went out to Levelland last Wednesday so she could meet with one of her teachers and sing a little to know where she will be in the choir and just from talking, the teacher knew she was an alto, which is cool. Then we ran some errands around town and drove up to Amarillo to see some friends of ours and eat at a restaurant she loves. We were up there for about seven or eight hours then drove back home. I miss Amarillo, I used to live there 14 years ago. I also miss Ft. Worth, but I think I miss Amarillo more since I lived there when my mind was most impressionable, according to a friend of mine. Anyway, I’m going to see if I can work some more of the website layout so when I do get a server, I can have everything ready to go. PIECE!!!!!
