I finally did it!

I finally got off…well, onto, my lazy rear end and purchased my domain name.  That’s under my hat now, now all I have to do is figure out how to make the website wicked awesome and then wait for Yoshi to show up with the first issue, hand off the second issue script and then scan the first book onto my server.  I have to call Sudden Link at some point and find out how much it will cost to get a business line so I can use my own server as a host server for the comics and not get in trouble.  ISPs are sensitive about what you do on their internet, with good reason too.  I used to work at Convergys and a lot of people would get mad when their home service would go down and they couldn’t run their internet businesses.  Sorry bout ‘cha, should’ve gotten a business line.  So, to save myself a lot of frustration and embarrassment down the road, I’ll go ahead and proactively get a business account with them and be all set and ready to go.  I’m also going to contact Go Daddy and figure out how to take over the website myself, without having to use their templates or anything like that.  Truly make it my own website.  I can barely keep my eyes open, the last couple of weeks I’ve been on call and have been woken up at the wee hours every single day.  Luckily, I don’t work at Hollywood tonight so I’m going to go home, pay some bills, kiss my wife and then go to bed as early as possible.  Wee!
